COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) Freight Service Limited (named as “COSCO SHIPPING Freight Service”), established on 17th January 1996, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong). COSCO SHIPPING Freight Service manages and operates freight-related investment projects of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) ‘s subsidiaries domestically and overseas. COSCO SHIPPING Freight Service is mainly engaged in agency service for container shipping, freight bulk carriers, general cargo ships and tankers as well as agency service for containers, freight forwarding, logistics, air-freight, land transport and storage, etc.

Penavico (Hong Kong) Ltd (named as “Penavico (Hong Kong)”), established in 1995, is a 50%-50% joint venture of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) Freight Service Limited and Penavico & CL (Hong Kong) Co., Limited. It is mainly engaged in the provision of shipping agency and freight forwarding services.

1. Shipping Agency
Penavico (Hong Kong) is mainly engaged in agency business in bulk carriers, general cargo ships and tankers. It provides agency services including cargo loading, cargo discharging, bunker supply and fresh water replenishment, customs clearance, arrival and departure formalities, ship repair, crew arrangement, and other relevant in-transit formalities for all cargo vessels that arrive at or by way of Hong Kong . It also provides services such as arranging transportation, medical service and visa-extension for crew, and handling marine accidents etc. It has an extensive agency network of China Ocean Shipping Agency Co., Ltd.

2. Freight forwarder
Ocean freight forwarder: Penavico (Hong Kong) provides a window service platform China Ocean Shipping Agency Co., Ltd. in Mainland China. Penavico (Hong Kong) provides professional and efficient services which include importing and exporting FCLs and LCLs to places around the world, and provides agency services of trans-shipment , customs declaration, trail hiring, container vanning /devanning and door-to-door deliveries, etc.

Air freight forwarder: Penavico (Hong Kong) has the qualification of Regulated Agent(RA 23660) from Civil Aviation Department(CAD)of Hong Kong, and provides the import and export services by air from Hong Kong to all over the world. It provides CY-CY, door to CY, door to door services, which include taking delivery of goods, customs declaration, trans-loading, booking space and pallet wrapping operation.
